#MoviesOmU: Movies in English and other original foreign languages in Leipzig, 24-30 September

in Arts/Culture / Entertainment/Movies by

Here’s our regular listing of films being shown in English and other original foreign languages (with labels such as OmU, OF and OV) at Leipzig cinemas for this movie week. Although not dubbed, the movies often come with German subtitles, so you can still access the movie if you don’t know the original language but know some German. These listings may look a bit different every time, but it’s because they reflect our mood. And we’d get bored anyway if we did it the same way every time, ya know. The info is still there, though.

Our highlights this movie week are an intimate-sounding film about the inner impact of the collapse of the Greek economy, an Italian indie horror movie that sounds a bit like “The Blair Witch Project” to me (call it childhood nostalgia), and a celebration of peaceful civil disobedience… just take a look below! You may also notice there’s a (documentary) film festival going on – the movies marked here with Mythos Freiheit, including two of our current highlights. Sounds quite interesting. It’s their second edition; we talked about Number 1 before.
