Daily haiku: Trams – Riders live and die/ Warmth turns to cold turns to warmth/ They loop on unfazed
Daily haiku: Us – The first shy flowers/ Peeked out the frozen ground white/ Turning red in spring
It was learning German, a break from my English-language academic writing, that brought me back to poetry. I found myself on a bus from Berlin to Leipzig writing a very basic-worded break-up poem in German, just for practice. (I will share said poem here once it has been properly proofread.) The next morning, I found by accident some of the posts from my old poetry blog still online. These two moments immediately converged into finally setting up a new forum for creative expression for myself and others. It took only a couple of clicks to set up a new blog. And a couple more clicks to announce it on social media. So here we are.
