Now, I am no fan of Schlager music, but after seeing these guys I now know it can be upbeat and fun if borderline cheesy. Check this free MDR supported gig out.  Band plays from 7-9. Free admission. Menckestrasse 5

7-9 August ►Poetry 2015

Last year I went to this festival in VOGTLAND and it was amazing! In a nutshell, you camp out, meet new and wonderful people, hear great live music……….and on Saturday you pick up trash that’s been dumped in the woods. You come away feeling so uplifted. more info

Marjon is Dutch and came to Leipzig in August 2013 with her family, because her husband got a job in the area. At the time she still had her own copywriting company, producing Dutch texts for websites, press releases, brochures, etc. She is an avid social media user and a passionate (digital) networker. Marjon has a degree in tourism management, which partially explains why she is always on the look-out for interesting Leipzig events and attractions.
