#IBUgDIARY 2015… here I am

So, I’m here. It didn’t take 5 hours like I thought.

It was a pleasant journey with Jetta the tech chick for film and Frank the tech advisor, who works in 3D printing… if i got all that right. The music was good and the conversation entertaining.

When we got here, there were some artists working, some sleeping and many sitting around a campfire socialising.

What I know so far is being part of this is like being part of a family. I feel very welcome. What I know about tomorrow is breakfast starts at 9.30 and I shouldn’t be too late to get a roll. Lunch is at… oh no! I’ve already forgotten, but I’m sure I’ll figure it out.

There’s a gym across the road for showers. So far so good. What now? Should I try to sleep or go warm myself by the fire?

Artist, curator and writer: maeshelle west-davies gleans her varied life experiences to expose a personal perspective through a multitude of mediums.
