The Festival of the Leipzig independent scene – the performance of the five nominees and an award ceremony in three days.

6 Feb 2016 will mark the 11th Leipzig movement art prize. Independent artists and groups in the fields of dance, theater and performance could apply with their performances from the 2014/15 season. A jury nominates five, which will be performed during the three day festival at LOFFT, NATO, and the Schaubühne Lindenfels. The finale and highlight of the festival will be when presenter Stefan Ebeling announces. Afterwards there’s live music, buffet and drinks.

The 5,000€ prize is one of the most prestigious awards for Independent Performing Arts in Germany and seen as an award for future productions.
