March 17th – 20th Book Fair – Buchmesse

Annual fair at Messe Leipzig which attracts visitors from all over Europe. Especially the Manga-Comic-Convention creates a lot of buzz. The city is filled with cartoon characters and literally wakes up after its long winter sleep. If you love to read, the book fair is a must visit. Order your tickets early on their website! After AGRA Antiques Market the second largest flea market of Leipzig, held monthly at Kohlrabizirkus, An den Tierkliniken 42, from 15:00-23:00. Entrance fee €2, free after 22:00 and free parking. More info (in German)

March 19th & 20th Antiques Market at AGRA

Usually every last weekend of the month the Agra Grounds transform into a giant second hand market, both indoor & outdoor. This time the famous Trödelmarkt opens one week earlier, because of Easter weekend being the last of March. Info

March 23rd – 28th Easter Market – Ostermarkt & Historische Leipziger Ostermesse

From 10:00-20:00 (except for Good Friday when it is closed, and on Easter Monday only till 18:00) the old Markt square is buzzing with (historic) activities like acting, juggling, handicrafts, music, dance, trading, wining & dining. Info on ALL Easter events here
