Call for Guest Professor in International Management
Application Deadline: December 2, 2024

The Competence Center for Small Enterprise Promotion and Training (SEPT), Faculty of Economics and Management Science, Leipzig University, is seeking a Guest Professor for the period from April 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025. The position will support the International SEPT MBA Program in the field of International Management.

The SEPT MBA is dedicated to conveying theoretical knowledge, application-oriented findings, and practical experience regarding the management, promotion, and development of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Teaching at least 4 hours per week in the area of International Management within the SEPT MBA program
• Supervising Master’s students and contributing to the ongoing development of the program
• Participation in conferences, events, and contributions to publications and project proposals within the SEPT Competence Center (highly encouraged)

REQUIREMENTS

• A completed Ph.D. in a relevant field, such as economics, business administration, or related disciplines
• Currently employed as an associate or assistant professor in business management or a related field
• Proven experience in international research and publications
• Fluent English skills (knowledge of German an advantage but not required)

WE OFFER

Contract duration from April 1, 2025, to July 31, 2025
Salary of EUR 2,600 per month
Coverage of travel expenses
Assistance with finding accommodation
