There’s always something going on at WERK 2 in Connewitz: from party pop nights, 80s and electro to alternative classical music to various live acts of various genres to science slams to arts projects and courses. This Saturday, if you’re hungover from the pressures of work or school, an alcohol-fueled Friday night, or all the diverse cultural offerings of Museumsnacht, or even none of that, and just want to get lost in a musical 80s time warp, you might wanna stop by tonight, Saturday. Beginning at 22h at WERK 2’s Halle A is the 80s Party, which I would imagine often draws a lot of people because Leipzig, Germany and northern Europe in general seem to have a bit of an obsession with that era musically. Another obsession seems to be Depeche Mode – and if you’re up for it, you can get your fix of that too, and electro, starting at 22h, at WERK 2’s Halle D, with DJ-Team Devote from Jena.
