Brecht play “Baal” simultaneously translated

The theater Schauspiel Leipzig (at Bosestraße 1) will present the play “Baal,” written and scored by Bertolt Brecht, simultaneously translated into English this Wednesday evening, July 8. The play is about a lecherous, murderous youth, and was reportedly written by Brecht when he was very young himself: 20 years old and student in Munich. It starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets range from €8 (students, all categories) to €26 (the best seats at the normal price). For more info and tickets, visit the play’s Schauspiel page via http://bit.ly/1GVDY8e. For more dates when “Baal” and other plays (i.e. Shakespeare’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream”) will be simultaneously translated into English or Spanish (via headphones) at Schauspiel, visit http://bit.ly/1CYi1QE.
