Westpol Airspace at Westwerk
Westpol Airspace at Westwerk

7, 14, 21 August BROG ( 1 / 2 / 3 ) Openings at Westpol Airspace

One of my favourite galleries in town will exhibit 40 young artists from Germany, Italy, Czech Republic, Colombia and Japan who spent a year in Halle and/or traveled to Japan, Spain, Turkey, France and Russia. The binding theme is a spiritual response to their experiences together and in their new and unfamiliar environments.  more info (in German)

The Cameroonian film “Les Derniers prédateurs” is a fictional story of corruption, aiding an unending dictatorship. After showing the film in Cameroon, the director Richard Djif was arrested and tortured by Cameroonian security forces. He was released due to international pressure. He then fled to Germany, where he was initially denied asylum.

No admission fees, starts at 8.00 p.m. at Clara Zetkin park next to the music pavilion. French with English subtitles.
