DJ SHAPE

The sounds from this mix take me back to like the open air vibes I enjoyed at a hip hop party in South Africa about three years ago. This mix is filled with amazing highs and lows, not the negative lows, but those necessary lows which allow you to breathe after some of the extremely pacey tracks Shape plays in the mix. When Pusha TA came in about 11 minutes in, I felt like jumping up to the roof top in excitement. Shape plays it smooth also with some Le Motel and Donald Byrd (Smooth Criminal I tell you). In closing I will say this mix which came out in like July 2014 is just as relevant to the Hip Hop and Electronic Hip Hop scene as any mix I have heard from 2016. Pump, pump, pump it up.
