If last movie week you didn’t catch the alternative film festival Mythos Freiheit: Körper at the naTo Cinémathèque Leipzig, you will have a couple more opportunities this time around. In addition, the same cinema this movie week will feature its Iranische Filmtage, or “Iranian Film Days.” There will also be an installment of the running feature, Russisches Kino, or “Russian Cinema,” at Cineplex; and the Sneak Preview at Cinestar, meaning you don’t know what movie will be playing, but it will be brand new and in its original language (most likely English), and you will pay less for your ticket. The latter happens the first Monday of each month.
Here in our regular Wednesday listing we give you movie showings in “OmU,” “OV,” and “OF” for the next seven days in Leipzig, meaning in their original languages and not dubbed in German, but often having German subtitles.
