Helpers needed for ECPMF conference

/

The first conference of the new European Centre for Press and Media Freedom takes place from Oct 8-9 2015 at the Leipzig School of Media campus in Gohlis-Süd. This is a Leipzig-based support network for journalists under threat, media lawyers and freedom of speech campaigners.

The conference offers a great chance to meet investigative reporters, media company owners and fund-raising experts from all over Europe – a wonderful networking opportunity. It’s free to attend the conference but you need to register in advance, as numbers are limited by the size of the venue.

We are also recruiting helpers for the conference – there are some paid positions for those who can work for two or three days and others for volunteers who have only a few hours to spare.

If you would like to apply for one of these jobs please email schult@ecpmf.eu with details of your availability, your CV (vita/Lebenslauf) and letter of motivation. We prefer people who speak English and German – speakers of other European languages, such as Russian, Turkish and Arabic, are also being sought.

Register here.
