500 refugees from various countries will be coming to Leipzig. Temporary quarters have been set up at Leipzig University in the Ernst-Grube-Halle which is usually used for volley ball and other activities. No one knows for sure how long they will need to stay there, but it looks like at least til October. As you can imagine, hosting 500 refugees in a sport hall takes some organisation and a lot of help. Fjällsangels Gemeinnützige Aktion is reaching out to the greater community (that’s you and me) for donations. Right now they are collecting welcome packets.

What’s in a welcome packet? It’s simple: 1 toothbrush, 1 toothpaste 1 deodorant, 1 bar of soap and 1 packet of biscuits (without chocolate, because it’ll melt in the current heat)
