It’s Straßenfest season here, it seems! After the quarters of Reudnitz (Leipzig East) and Südvorstadt (Leipzig South) had their street festivals over the past few weekends, it’s now the West Side’s turn. Georg-Schwarz-Straßenfest will take place along the street of the same name, which cuts from Leutzsch to the Lindenau area, all day Saturday, May 9. This handy little flyer gives you a map of the participating locations (click to enlarge). There will also be a ton of live music; you can find the complete lineup on the event’s Facebook page, along with some other info.
