This is not a complete list. It’s just events that I like, or that I happen to see posted on Facebook and Twitter. I share them because you may not know yet where to find them. Like me when I had just arrived in Leipzig.

2^nd & 3^rd July ► Kitchen Guerilla at Westwerk (Plagwitz)

2^nd – 5^th July ► WEINFEST – Wine Festival + STRAβENTHEATERTAGE – Street Theatre

The event titles speak for themselves. Both take place in the city centre. 04^th July ► Feinkost Flohmarkt – Flea Market at Feinkost-Hof

04^th July ► Fourth of July Celebrations at Champions Sportsbar (Marriott)

4^th July ► Westbesuch/Westpaket

Four times a year Karl-Heine-Straβe and Westwerk in Plagwitz transform for a vibrant street event that is great fun for all ages. It incorporates art, culture (music!), lots of food stalls and a flea market. This time they celebrate 10 years of Westbesuch. From 11:00 – 18:00. 6^th Juli – 31^st August ► Konzerte am Bachdenkmal – open air concerts at Bach memorial

Nine different concerts and performers, all FREE concerts starting at 19:00 next to Thomaskirche. Alternative locations in case of rain. Program (in German) http://www.bachkonzerte.eu/konzerte.htm

7^thJuly ► Flea Market at Alte Messe

Every first Sunday of the month you’ll find this flea market with up to a 100 dealers offering a variety of treasures on the grounds of the Old Leipzig Exhibition Centre, around the ‘double-M’ logo.
