Tickets available online and at the box office

A premiere for Leipzig’s well-known Panometer 360° art installation, this special concert event, billed as a hammock sleep concert, will only take place one evening across two shows. You can book hammocks, mattresses, or beanbags to sit inside the dome. The Panometer’s current exhibit is the serene panorama “Carola’s Garden” which should be the ideal backdrop for a relaxing soundscape.

Hammocks, mattresses and beanbags are still available online.

They are aiming to exchange experiences, stories, ideas, and wishes and tackle questions like “What is dignity anyway? How does it feel? What role does human dignity and value play in arriving and belonging in a (new) society?”

You will interview each other, explore places of dignity and non-dignity in Leipzig and jointly develop ideas for a performative action in a public space.

Join the project in their next meeting on Saturday at Garage Ost!

Karo Lynn in concert

Thu Aug 26th 7:00pm – 11:00pm

Returning to the Moritzbastei almost two years after her last album’s release party, the singer-songwriter will once again perform in one of Leipzig’s most historic venues.

Back then, LeipGlo contributor Aine Freeman sat down with Karo and talked about her new album and all things music. Here’s what she said about her creative process:

Almost every song I’ve written is about personal emotions or personal situations I experienced with other people. Yeah, it’s really personal. But I think my lyrics are not so specific that you could tell the real story. The only person who could tell the story is me and maybe the other person involved.

Get some of the last tickets for Karo Lynn’s show tomorrow.

Heiner Uebbing originally hails from rural Lower Saxony and is based in Leipzig. His passion for film dates back to his teenage years, when he started attending film festivals, writing and corresponding about his experiences. You can probably spot him in one of Leipzig’s OmU/OV screenings in the front rows.
